The Alabama Crimson Tide were on the bubble to make the CFP after their third loss of the season, to Georgia in the SEC Championship Game, but they come in as the ninth seed at 10-3. The Oklahoma Sooners are in the eighth spot at 10-2, with their losses coming to Georgia and in the Red River Rivalry with Texas. Another of Bama's losses came against Oklahoma in November, when the Sooners took advantage of three turnovers to take a 23-21 victory in Tuscaloosa. The Tide outgained the Sooners 406-212, and they'll be looking for revenge on the road Friday. The winner gets top-seeded Indiana in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day. The Sooners are 1.5-point favorites, and the Over/Under is set at 40.5. The SportsLine Projection Model has the Tide covering in 51% of its simulations but the Sooners (-114) winning outright 52% of the time. The model says bet the Over, as it hits at a 56% rate and the projection is for 45 total points.

After tonight, the NBA will take a break until Christmas Day, and one of the five matchups on Friday's slate is Thunder vs. Timberwolves. Oklahoma City rebounded from seeing its 16-game winning streak snapped in the NBA Cup semifinals by beating the Clippers 122-101 on Thursday night. The Timberwolves are 7-2 in their last nine games but come off a 116-110 loss to Memphis on Wednesday. The Thunder are 8-point favorites, with the Over/Under set at 230.5, and the SportsLine model has a slight lean on Minnesota to cover the spread as they win in 33% of simulations as +265 underdogs.
