Packers' Trevon Diggs: Move to Green Bay official
The Packers officially claimed Diggs off waivers from the Cowboys on Wednesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Diggs will still need to pass a physical before joining the Green Bay roster, but that seems to be a foregone conclusion. Green Bay is headed to the postseason as the No. 7 seed in the NFC, so Diggs could be a major acquisition even if he doesn't play Week 18 against Minnesota. The Packers placed cornerback Nate Hobbs on injured reserve Wednesday, so Diggs should eventually help fill that void. Green Bay will assume the remainder of the five-year, $97 million extension Diggs inked with Dallas in the summer of 2023, though the 27-year-old's deal contains no guaranteed money after the 2025 season, making him a potential cut candidate this offseason.

Packers' Trevon Diggs: Lands with Green Bay
The Packers claimed Diggs off waivers from the Cowboys on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Diggs missed a total of eight games for Dallas so far this season due to a concussion and a knee injury, but he was healthy enough to suit up for both of the team's last two contests. Now set to join Green Bay, the 2021 All-Pro cornerback will bolster a secondary that had been decimated by injuries in recent weeks. Given the short onboarding period with his new team, Diggs is unlikely to debut in Sunday's regular-season finale against Minnesota, but he should be ready to contribute for the Packers in their first playoff contest.

Trevon Diggs: Cut loose by Dallas
The Cowboys waived Diggs on Tuesday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
After racking up 14 interceptions between the 2021 and 2022 seasons, Diggs signed a five-year, $97 million contract extension with Dallas in the summer of 2023 but has struggled to meet expectations ever since. In addition to sitting out most of the 2023 season after sustaining an ACL tear, Diggs has missed time in the 2024 and 2025 campaigns due to a groin and knee injuries as well as a concussion. He had played in just eight of Dallas' first 16 games this season, logging 25 tackles and recording no interceptions. Any team putting in a claim for Diggs would have to assume the remaining money on his contract, though he could be cut with few ramifications this offseason since his deal is non-guaranteed after 2025.

Cowboys' Trevon Diggs: Officially cleared for Week 16
Diggs (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Diggs was activated from injured reserve Saturday, and the sixth-year corner has been officially cleared to return Sunday from an eight-game absence due to a knee injury. His return is timely, given that DaRon Bland (foot - IR) has been shut down for the rest of the season and Caelen Carson (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game, which leaves Diggs and rookie Shavon Revel as the Cowboys' two starting outside cornerbacks.

Cowboys' Trevon Diggs: Activated Saturday
Diggs (knee) was activated from the injured reserve list Saturday, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.
The 27-year-old has missed Dallas' last eight games due to a knee injury, but it now appears he'll return for the Week 16 matchup against the Chargers. In six contests prior to the injury, Diggs tallied 18 total tackles but allowed a 148.7 passer rating when targeted. Now fully healthy, he's expected to operate as one of the Cowboys' top boundary corners during Sunday's matchup.

Cowboys' Trevon Diggs: Likely to be activated from IR
The Cowboys are planning on activating Diggs (knee) from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Diggs landed on injured reserve in late October due to a concussion, but he has since been working through a knee injury. He drew the questionable tag for Sunday's game after being a limited practice participant during Week 16 prep, but with DaRon Bland (foot) ruled out, Rapoport relays that Diggs could return to the lineup but work in a rotational role in the secondary. Diggs would need to be activated from injured reserve Saturday in order to be available for Sunday's game.

Cowboys' Trevon Diggs: Could return Week 16
Diggs (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Diggs continues to be limited in practice by a knee injury that he has been working through since late October. His 21-day practice window opened Nov. 30, so if he's not activated from injured reserve for Week 16, the sixth-year corner would be in jeopardy of missing the rest of the 2025 regular season.

Cowboys' Trevon Diggs: Limited practice Wednesday
Diggs (knee) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Clarence Hill Jr. of AllDLLS.com reports.
Diggs has continued to participate at practice since being designated to return from injured reserve Nov. 30, but he has yet to be activated. The cornerback is approaching the end of his 21-day practice window, and if he's not activated in Week 16, he'll remain sidelined for the rest of the year.

Cowboys' Trevon Diggs: Officially out Week 15
Diggs (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Vikings.
Diggs will miss his eighth game in a row with a knee injury. He'll have one more week to be activated from injured reserve before he's forced to miss the remainder of the season. With Diggs still sidelined, rookie Shavon Revel should continue to start opposite DaRon Bland.

Cowboys' Trevon Diggs: Likely won't play Sunday
Diggs (knee) is not to play versus the Minnesota on Sunday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
Diggs has been practicing since he was designated to return from IR on Nov. 30, and he was limited in Wednesday through Friday's sessions. Schultz adds that the cornerback's relationship with the Cowboys has "soured" and "been severed," as it appears he may feel ready to return to action even if the team does not. Meanwhile, Dallas co-owner Stephen Jones said Friday that he feels like Diggs will be activated this year, according to Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News. The 27-year-old would need to be activated before the Week 16 contest versus the Chargers, or else he'll revert to IR for the remainder of the season.
