  • Giants' Beaux Collins: Out for Sunday

Collins (neck/concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Vikings, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

The Notre Dame product was unable to practice all week, so it's no surprise that he won't return for Sunday's matchup. Collins was designated to return from the injured reserve list Dec. 10, giving him one more week of practice to be added to the Giants' active roster before reverting to IR.

  • Giants' Beaux Collins: Misses practice again

Collins (neck/concussion) will not practice Thursday, Evan Barnes of Newsday reports.

Collins initially participated in practice upon being designated for return from injured reserve Dec. 10, but he suffered a setback Friday and has trended in the wrong direction since. At this stage, it appears unlikely that Collins will gain clearance for Sunday's game against the Vikings, and his overall odds of retaking the field this season are uncertain.

  • Giants' Beaux Collins: No practice Wednesday

Collins (neck/concussion) did not practice Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Collins was designated to return to practice Dec. 10, but he has trended negatively since. He suffered a setback Friday that prevented him from playing in Week 15, and it was also enough to keep him sidelined Wednesday. Collins will seemingly have to make a significant step in his recovery to be ready for Sunday's game against the Vikings.

  • Giants' Beaux Collins: Will not return Sunday

Collins (neck/concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Commanders, Matt Citak of the Giants' official site reports.

Collins was designated to return from IR on Wednesday, but a Thursday setback is what likely eliminated him from playing consideration for Sunday's game. The wide receiver will have to set his sights on a Week 16 return when the Giants take on the Vikings.

  • Giants' Beaux Collins: Limited on Thursday

Collins (neck) was limited in Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Collins practiced in full after being designated to return from IR on Wednesday, so it's possible that Thursday's downgrade in activity level represents a setback in his recovery. The depth wideout hasn't played since Week 9 due to a neck injury.

  • Giants' Beaux Collins: Returns to practice Wednesday

The Giants designated Collins (neck) to return to practice Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports, and Collins was a full participant in his return, per Matt Citak of the Giants' official site.

Collins suffered a neck injury against the 49ers in Week 9. He was ultimately placed on injured reserve Nov. 8 and has since missed the required four games. With an additional week to recover during New York's Week 14 bye, Collins now appears to be back to full health. He may be able to suit up and log a depth wideout role against Washington this Sunday, but the Giants would first need to activate him by Saturday afternoon.

  • Giants' Beaux Collins: Lands on injured reserve

The Giants placed Collins (neck) on injured reserve Saturday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Collins injured his neck during the Giants' Week 9 loss to the 49ers. He was already ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bears after logging a trio of DNPs during Week 10 prep, but his placement on IR means he'll be required to miss at least the next four games. Collins is eligible to be activated from injured reserve in Week 15 against the Commanders on Sunday, Dec. 14.

  • Giants' Beaux Collins: Won't play Sunday

Collins (neck) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Bears, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

The rookie wideout from Notre Dame logged three consecutive DNPs during the Giants' week of practice, so it's no surprise that he won't suit up Sunday. Collins has contributed on offense and special teams across nine appearances this season, catching two of six targets for 25 yards over 194 total snaps (110 on special teams, 84 on offense). While he's sidelined Week 10, expect Gunner Olszewski and Jalin Hyatt to have expanded roles in the Giants' receiving corps.

  • Giants' Beaux Collins: Sits out another practice

Collins (neck) did not practice Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Collins has now missed back-to-back practices due to a neck injury sustained during New York's loss to the 49ers in Week 9. He looks to be trending in the wrong direction for Sunday's road matchup against the Bears, upping the chances Gunner Olszewski and Jalin Hyatt handle expanded roles at wide receiver behind Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton.

  • Giants' Beaux Collins: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Collins (neck) did not participate in Wednesday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Collins sustained a neck injury during the second half of the Giants' Week 9 loss to the 49ers and was unable to return. He'll have two more chances to practice this week, but if he's not cleared to play against the Bears on Sunday, then Gunner Olszewski and Jalin Hyatt would be candidates to serve as the Giants' WR3 behind Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton.

  • Giants' Beaux Collins: Won't return due to neck injury

Collins (neck) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the 49ers, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Collins appeared to sustain the injury early in the third quarter, and it is severe enough for him to not return to Sunday's contest. Jalin Hyatt and Ray-Ray McCloud should see more offensive snaps in Collins' absence.

  • Giants' Beaux Collins: Cleared to play Week 9

Collins (quadriceps) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the 49ers, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.

Collins has two catches for 25 scoreless yards this season. He's not a fantasy option with Darius Slayton back healthy alongside Wan'Dale Robinson.

  • Giants' Beaux Collins: Limited in practice again

Collins (quadriceps) registered a limited practice session Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Collins has now logged consecutive limited sessions to begin the week as a result of a quad injury. He may need to log a full practice Friday to avoid entering the weekend with an injury designation for Sunday's matchup against the 49ers. Should he be able to suit up, Collins may be slated for a significant role since only Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton are definitely ahead of him in the wideout pecking order.

  • Giants' Beaux Collins: Dealing with quad issue

Collins (quadriceps) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

It's not immediately clear when Collins picked up the injury, but his activity at practice at least suggests it's not severe. He'll have two more chances to upgrade to a full practice before the Giants' final practice report of the week is released Friday.

  • Giants' Beaux Collins: Makes one catch in Week 8 loss

Collins recorded one reception on two targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Eagles.

Fellow receiver Darius Slayton returned from a two-game absence and started Sunday's contest, but Collins' involvement actually went up, not down. After logging a combined 10 offensive snaps the prior two weeks, Collins was on the field for 12 offensive snaps Sunday, representing a 23 percent offensive snap share. He ranked fourth in snap share among New York wideouts behind Wan'Dale Robinson (98 percent), Slayton (73 percent) and Lil'Jordan Humphrey (63 percent), while Jalin Hyatt was a healthy inactive. Collins has moved above Hyatt in the pecking order, though Collins isn't a particularly viable fantasy asset while the other wide receivers ahead of him on the depth chart are healthy.
