Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Logs limited practice Wednesday
Henderson (concussion) was limited at practice Wednesday.
As of Wednesday, Henderson remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, but the running back's limited participation in the Patriots' first practice this week offers hope that he may be available Sunday against the Jets. Henderson now has two more opportunities to upgrade his participation level before New England's Week 17 injury designations are posted Friday. If Henderson is unable to gain medical clearance to play this weekend, fellow RB Rhamondre Stevenson would be in line to see added touches against New York, with D'Ernest Johnson available to mix in. Additionally, Elijah Mitchell and Jashaun Corbin are candidates to be elevated from the practice squad in such a scenario.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: At practice Wednesday
Henderson (concussion) was spotted at practice Wednesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Coach Mike Vrabel confirmed Tuesday that Henderson is in the NFL's concussion protocol, so it's not surprising that the running back sported a red (non-contact) jersey at Wednesday's practice. The Patriots' upcoming injury report is slated to reveal Henderson's official participation level in the session.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Lands in concussion protocol
Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel confirmed Tuesday that Henderson is in concussion protocol, Ben Volin of The Boston Globe reports.
Henderson missed the entire second half of Sunday's 28-24 win over the Ravens due to what the Patriots had been classifying as a head injury, which stemmed from a hard fall to the turf. With Vrabel now confirming that Henderson has sustained a concussion, the rookie running back will have limited time to clear the five-step protocol in advance of this Sunday's game at the Jets. If Henderson can't play in Week 17, Rhamondre Stevenson would likely move back into a lead role out of the New England backfield.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Questionable due to head injury
Henderson (head) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Henderson was deemed questionable to return shortly after being taken to the locker room. The team has not given any indication that the running back suffered a concussion. Henderson rushed five times and caught his only target for nine yards prior to getting hurt. While Henderson is sidelined, Rhamondre Stevenson will lead New England's backfield.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Heads to locker room on SNF
Henderson (undisclosed) went to the locker room in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Ravens, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Henderson is likely dealing with a head injury after hitting his head on the turf. He first went to the blue medical tent, per Lazar, probably to be evaluated for a concussion. The team will likely provide an update on Henderson's status shortly. Prior to the injury, Henderson rushed five times for three yards and caught his only target for nine yards.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Two long rushing TDs not enough
Henderson rushed 14 times for 148 yards and two touchdowns while catching two of three targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 35-31 loss to the Bills.
Henderson extended New England's lead to 21-0 with a 52-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. The Patriots sputtered in the second half, outside of a 65-yard Henderson touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Henderson has broken out for 150 or more scrimmage yards twice in his last five outings, and he has exceeded 80 scrimmage yards in six consecutive games. The rookie second-round pick will look to keep rolling in Week 16 against the Ravens on SNF.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Tallies 86 total yards in win
Henderson rushed 11 times for 67 yards and brought in three of four targets for 19 yards in the Patriots' 33-15 win over the Giants on Monday night.
Henderson actually logged one fewer carry than Rhamondre Stevenson, but he outgained his backfield mate by 27 rushing yards and drew one additional target as well. Both backs had ample opportunity thanks to game script, as the Patriots already held a 30-7 lead at halftime. Henderson is still likely the No. 1 option under normal circumstances, but both backs are clearly trusted by the coaching staff. Henderson next takes aim at the Bills' typically generous run defense in a Week 15 home showdown on Sunday, Dec. 14 following a Week 14 bye.
