McCormick (hamstring) went 2-for-5 with a double in his first rehab game with Triple-A Sugar Land on Sunday.
McCormick occupied the designated hitter spot in what was his first game action in a couple weeks. He should be activated from the 10-day injured list soon, but the Astros presumably will want him to play at least a game or two in the outfield before that happens.
