Austin Romine: Released by Cincinnati

Romine was released Saturday by the Reds, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Romine was a non-roster invitee that signed with the Reds in December. The veteran backstop went 3-for-15 in Cactus League play with one home run. He's now free to join another organization, and could see interest from a club looking for depth at catcher.
