Blue Jays' Darwin Barney: Getting regular playing time

Barney will start at second base for the second straight game Sunday against the Twins.

He was expected to see a decrease in playing time following the addition of Jimmy Paredes, but that hasn't been the case thus far, as he'll make his 15th start of the year at the keystone on Sunday afternoon. Barney will have to continue holding off competition from Paredes and Ryan Goins if he plans on receiving regular starts going forward.
