Canha isn't in the Brewers' lineup Friday against the Cubs.
Canha was able to break his three-game hitless streak with a single during Thursday's win over St. Louis, and he will now get his second day off in three games. William Contreras will serve as Milwaukee's designated hitter with Canha out, and Victor Caratini will start behind the plate while batting eighth.
