It's not a good sign for Santana that Jordan Luplow is starting over him with a righty (Daniel Ponce de Leon) on the mound for the Cardinals, as Luplow is on the roster because of his ability to mash lefties. Santana is hitting .156 with one home run and 11 strikeouts over his last 10 games.
