Romero (elbow) was released by the Guardians, per the MiLB's transactions log.
Romero was placed on the 7-day injured list Aug. 3 due to a right elbow injury and he was let go a few days later. He last appeared in the big leagues in 2022 with the Twins, allowing two runs on nine hits and one walk while fanning six over five innings of relief work.
