Jordan Luplow: Hits free agency

Luplow elected free agency Monday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Luplow was one of the victims as the Twins performed some 40-man roster housecleaning and he'll hit free agency rather than accept an outright assignment. The veteran outfielder has always hit lefties well, so he could latch on with a team looking for a short-end platoon option.
