Mariners' Julio Rodriguez: Exits early with ankle injury

Rodriguez made an early exit from Wednesday's game against the Tigers due to a right ankle injury, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Rodriguez tweaked his ankle during his at-bat in the eighth inning but was able to remain in the game briefly, logging an RBI single before being replaced on the basepaths. Manager Scott Servais said after the game that the 23-year-old's injury isn't a serious issue, so it's possible he'll be able to return to Seattle's lineup without missing any time.
