Raley is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Nationals.
The lefty hitter will get a break as southpaw MacKenzie Gore takes the mound for Washington. Jonatan Clase will start in place of Raley and bat ninth while Julio Rodriguez and Mitch Haniger round out Seattle's outfield.
