The Mariners purchased Kelly's contract from the Long Island Ducks on Saturday, Michael Pfaff of the Long Island Ducks reports.
Kelly had been under contract in the independent Atlantic League, but now joins the Seattle organization. The 32-year-old has appeared in 118 major-league games with the Mets and Phillies, all of which came between 2016 and 2018.
