Chen (5-3) threw seven innings, allowing one run, three hits and a walk while striking out five in a victory over the Mets on Tuesday.
Chen tossed his best game of the season, outdueling Steven Matz to pick up just his second win in his last 10 starts. The lefty's lone mistake came in the bottom of the fourth when he allowed a solo homer to Yoenis Cespedes. The first-year Marlin will head into the break with a career-high 4.83 ERA.
