Tarpley returned from the COVID-19 injured list for Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday.
Tarpley had only been out since Wednesday, so it doesn't appear as though he tested positive for the virus himself. He's only made a single major-league appearance this season and has been off the big-league roster since late April.
