Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a double in Sunday's 12-3 loss to the Giants.

The veteran second baseman has consistently hit leadoff in manager Dave Martinez's batting order to begin the season, but so far Hernandez hasn't delivered. He's slashing .247/.275/.299 with four doubles, zero homers, two RBI and nine runs through 18 games, and with the Nationals struggling to generate offense, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Hernandez moved lower in the order at some point in an attempt to get him going.
