The Orioles outrighted Vespi to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
He will remain in the organization after clearing waivers one week after the Orioles designated him for assignment. Vespi, a 28-year-old lefty, owns a 3.88 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 46:13 K:BB in 53.1 innings over 45 career appearances in the big leagues.
