Patrick Leonard: Released by Milwaukee

The Brewers released Leonard on Tuesday, J.J. Cooper of Baseball America reports.

Leonard was one of the more prominent names among the 11 minor-league players the Brewers cut loose Tuesday. After joining the organization last spring, Leonard spent the entire 2019 season at Double-A Biloxi, slashing .301/.375/.459 over 403 plate appearances.
