Cashner (biceps) received a muscle-relaxing injection Saturday and will return to spring camp Sunday, Stephen Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
It appears Cashner is taking the right steps since suffering a setback in his recovery earlier this week. Nonetheless, after being shut down by doctors, it remains highly unlikely the right-hander will be ready for Opening Day, so it's safe to assume A.J. Griffin and Chi Chi Gonzalez will begin the season in the starting rotation. Expect Cashner to be eased into light activities over the next couple weeks.
