Rangers' David Carpenter: Outrighted to minors

Carpenter was sent outright to Triple-A Nashville on Wednesday.

Carpenter will remain with the Rangers as organizational bullpen depth after passing through waivers untouched. He's made four appearances for the big-league club this season, allowing four runs on five hits and four walks across 3.1 innings.
