Rangers' Eric Jokisch: Gets traded to Texas

Jokisch was traded to Texas in exchange for Pedro Ciriaco on Friday, John Blake of TexasRangers.com reports.

After passing through his waiver period unclaimed, Miami decided to deal Jokisch for minor league second baseman Pedro Ciriaco. Jokisch will head directly to Triple-A Round Rock. The 26-year-old left-hander has compiled a 3.92 ERA over 39 innings between Double-A Jacksonville, Triple-A Iowa, and Triple-A New Orleans this season.
