Reds' Scott Heineman: Slugs first homer

Heineman went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Brewers.

Getting his first start of the year and batting seventh, the 28-year-old took Brett Anderson deep to lead off the bottom of the third inning, putting the Reds on the board. It was Heineman's first big-league homer this season and the fourth of his career, and he could take on the short side of a platoon in center field while Nick Senzel (knee) is sidelined.
