Twins manager Rocco Baldelli wouldn't rule out a trip to the injured list for Buxton (hip) when asked about the possibility Wednesday, Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
While Baldelli noted that an MRI on Buxton's hip came back negative, he said the outfielder is still feeling quite sore. Buxton injured the hip during Monday's game versus the Royals and will miss a second straight start Wednesday. An IL stint can be backdated three days, so the Twins might wait until Friday to make a roster decision on Buxton, assuming he hasn't return to action by then.
