The Yankees reassigned Allen to minor-league camp Monday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Allen went 5-for-26 at the plate in 16 Grapefruit League games. The veteran outfielder should bounce around to all three outfield spots while at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
