Scheierman had his 2027-28 rookie-scale team option picked up by Boston on Friday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports
It's a fourth-year option for Scheierman, which keeps the forward under team control for at least one more season after 2026-27. Scheierman is a significant reserve on the wing alongside Sam Hauser and Hugo Gonzalez for the Celtics.
