Hauser (back) won't play in Thursday's game versus the Wizards, Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe reports.
Hauser has been downgraded from questionable to out Thursday while dealing with lower back pain. Jaden Springer and Jordan Walsh are candidates to receive increased playing time in his absence. Hauser's next chance to suit up will be Saturday's matchup with Detroit.
