Millsap was waived by the Jazz on Tuesday, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Millsap's three-year contract was scheduled to become guarantee on Thursday, so the Jazz decided to part with the swingman before having to pay up. Brother of All-Star forward Paul Millsap, Eljah averaged 4.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.3 blocks in 16 minutes per game through 67 games with the Jazz the past two seasons. Millsap has spent time with Thunder, Lakers, and Bucks in addition to the Jazz.
