Grizzlies' Tony Wroten: Signs contract with Grizzlies

Wroten re-signed Monday with the Grizzlies, Kevin Lipe of the Memphis Flyer reports.

Wroten had been waived twice over the last month and half, with the Grizzlies recently dismissing the point guard in mid-July. Even after his release, there was apparently some interest from the Grizzlies in bringing Wroten back for training camp, where he'll audition for a spot on the 15-man roster. Andrew Harrison will serve as the main competition for Wroten as the two battle for the third-string point guard role.
