Dedmon didn't practice Monday due to an illness, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Dedmon and Bam Adebayo both missed practice Monday due to an illness, so the Heat's frontcourt may be thin for their matchup with the Pistons on Tuesday. If the two centers can't shake the illness in 24 hours, then Omer Yurtseven and Udonis Haslem may be thrust into extended action.
