Nets head coach Steve Nash said Harris (ankle), who has already been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Celtics, is unlikely to be available for the first contest of Brooklyn's upcoming homestand Saturday versus Phoenix, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.
Brooklyn will presumably check back in on where Harris stands in his recovery from a left ankle sprain following the Thanksgiving holiday, but at this stage, he can be viewed as doubtful for the start of the homestand. The recent absences of Harris and Bruce Brown (hamstring) have opened up more minutes on the wing of late for Patty Mills, DeAndre' Bembry and Cam Thomas, who should all maintain rotation spots Wednesday.
