Louzada announced via his personal Twitter on Friday that he underwent successful surgery on his left knee.

Louzada suffered the injury while playing for the G League's Birmingham Squadron in mid-January. The surgery was likely delayed due to a stint in the NBA's health and safety protocols at the end of January, but he appears to have tested out and should be able to rehab at team facilities. The second-year pro has appeared in just two games at the NBA level this season -- a byproduct of not being a mainstay in coach Willie Green's rotation, along with the fact that he served a 25-game suspension earlier in the campaign for violating the league's anti-drug program. There's no timetable for his return, but the Pelicans may keep him sidelined for the rest of the season.
