Fox (finger) has agreed to sign a four-year, $229 million maximum contract extension with the Spurs, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
The deal is set to keep Fox with San Antonio through the 2029-30 campaign. The Spurs acquired the star floor general ahead of this past February's trade deadline, and he's in line to be a key two-way presence in the team's backcourt for the foreseeable future. It's unclear how far along Fox is during his recovery from his finger surgery back in March, but it's possible he'll be ready in time for training camp this fall.
