Gafford will start against the Jazz on Monday, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.
With Anthony Davis (calf) sidelined, Gafford will get the starting nod. However, the big man will be limited to 17-20 minutes in his return from a three-game absence due to a right ankle injury, per Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News. Over his last five outings (three starts), the 27-year-old has averaged 6.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks in 22.2 minutes per tilt.

Julian Strawther SF | DEN
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Good to go Monday
Strawther (back) has been cleared to play Monday against the Rockets.
Strawther was listed on the injury report as questionable after missing 12 straight games with a back injury, but he's been given the green light to suit up Monday evening. He'll presumably be on some sort of restriction in his first game back.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Questionable to return

Nikola Jovic PF | MIA
Heat's Nikola Jovic: Won't return Monday
Jovic sustained a right elbow injury in the first quarter of Monday's game against the Raptors and will not return.
Jovic was hit while he was in the air during a dunk attempt and hit the floor hard before leaving the court with a brace on his arm. He'll finish with no counting stats over just 12 seconds. Keshad Johnson and Jaime Jaquez are candidates for increased minutes the rest of the way. Jovic should be considered doubtful for Thursday's game against the Nets until the Heat offer an update on his status.

Tari Eason PF | HOU
Rockets' Tari Eason: Not playing Monday
Eason (oblique) is out for Monday's game against the Nuggets, Vanessa Richardson of Space City Home Network reports.
Head coach Ime Udoka clarified that Eason's absence from Monday's game isn't a setback in his injury but rather general soreness after a workout. The forward hasn't played in a month while dealing with an oblique injury, so his absence shouldn't have a lot of fantasy ramifications. His next chance to play will come against the Pelicans on Thursday.

Hauser exited to the locker room after sustaining an apparent left ankle injury in the second quarter of Monday's game against the Pistons, Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe reports.
Hauser briefly remained in the game before eventually limping back to the locker room with 9:47 remaining in the second. If the forward is unable to return, Josh Minott and Hugo Gonzalez are candidates for increased minutes the rest of the way.

Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Unavailable Monday
Davis (calf) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Jazz.
