Moussa Cisse C | DAL
Mavericks' Moussa Cisse: Headed to bench
Cisse will come off the bench in Friday's preseason finale versus the Hawks.
Daniel Gafford (rest) is back and starting after sitting out Wednesday's preseason loss to the Pelicans, so Cisse will return to a reserve role. As a member of the second unit this preseason, Cisse is averaging 1.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in 10.5 minutes per game.

Mavericks' Naji Marshall: Headed to bench
Marshall will come off the bench in Friday's preseason finale against the Hawks.
Marshall started in Wednesday's exhibition loss to the Pelicans with Kyrie Irving (rest) unavailable, but Irving is back from his maintenance day. Marshall will be operating in a reserve role for the Mavs this season, so it'll be tough for him to find enough minutes to make an impact in fantasy leagues.

The 31-year-old will be looking to bounce back during the 2026-27 campaign after averaging 19.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists over 31.4 minutes in just 39 regular-season games in 2025-26.

Hawks' Keshon Gilbert: Cleared to play Friday
Gilbert (knee) is available for Friday's preseason finale against the Mavericks, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Gilbert has the green light after missing time with a knee injury, but with all of Atlanta's regulars available for the final exhibition, it's unclear how many minutes he will play. Gilbert is on a two-way contract with Atlanta after appearing in one regular-season game for the Hawks last season.

Malik Monk SG | SAC
Kings' Malik Monk: Dealing with ankle soreness
Monk (ankle) could miss time to begin the 2026-27 campaign, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.
Monk has been dealing with left ankle soreness throughout training camp and the preseason. While he hasn't been ruled out for Opening Night against Los Angeles, his availability will hinge on "how the ankle responds" leading up to the contest. If Monk isn't available, Nique Clifford should be considered the favorite to see more minutes.
