Oliver (abdomen) was arrested Saturday in Houston on charges of driving while intoxicated and unlawfully carrying a weapon, Sal Capaccio of WGR Sports Radio 550 Buffalo reports.
According to the police report, Oliver was asked to take a field sobriety test after he was spotted with an open beer between his legs when deputies pulled over his vehicle. Deputies then proceeded to search his car and discovered a pistol before transporting Oliver to Montgomery County Jail. The Bills are aware of Oliver's arrest and plan to gather more information regarding the incident before issuing further comment. Oliver, who recorded 43 tackles and five sacks in 16 games (seven starts) as a rookie last season, could be subject to discipline from the NFL, regardless of how his legal process plays out.
