Bryce Thompson: Lands back in New Orleans

Thompson (lower leg) signed with the Saints' practice squad Wednesday.

Thompson was carted off with a right leg injury during the Saints' second preseason game, and he was waived with an injury settlement from IR in mid-August. The 2021 undrafted free agent played 19 special-teams snaps over two practice-squad elevations with New Orleans last year, and he should serve a similar role this season.
