Bug Howard: Let go with injury designation

The Buccaneers waived Howard (undisclosed) with an injury designation Tuesday.

After a successful campaign in the USFL with Philadelphia, Howard signed with Tampa Bay for training camp. However, the 28-year-old tight end finds himself among a wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 80-man roster deadline.
