Cade York: Cut from practice squad

The Saints cut York from the practice squad Thursday.

York's presence as a reserve kicker is no longer necessary, with Charlie Smyth on track to be elevated from the practice squad Week 16. Despite having inked a deal with New Orleans' practice squad late November, York ultimately didn't get a chance to debut for the team. He'll search for an opportunity to compete elsewhere in the league.
