Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Returns to practice

Murray (ankle) is returning to practice Friday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
The extent of his participation isn't yet clear, but it appears Murray will practice for the first time since spraining his ankle at the end of a Week 8 loss to Green Bay. The Cardinals got by without him in San Francisco last week, with James Conner scoring three touchdowns and backup QB Colt McCoy attempting only 26 passes in a 31-17 victory. Murray's return for Sunday's game against Carolina would provide a sizable boost to all of the Arizona pass catchers, though it isn't clear exactly who will play with DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring), Rondale Moore (hamstring) and A.J. Green (illness) all listed on the injury report this week. Hopkins appears to be missing another practice Friday morning, while Green and Moore are present.
