Cole Hikutini: Waived with injury settlement

The Giants waived Hikutini (hip) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, independent NFL journalist Aaron Wilson reports.

Hikutini suffered the hip injury during the Giants' preseason opener. It is unclear how long he will be sidelined, but when healthy, he will be eligible to join a new team for the 2021 campaign.
