Day underwent a "minor procedure" to address a knee injury Monday, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.
Day will now be forced to rehab his injury, leaving his availability for Week 1's game against Jacksonville in jeopardy. The Notre Dame product was looking at a depth role with the team in 2020 anyhow, so his absence likely won't affect the defense a great deal.
