Gerry signed a contract with the Commanders on Sunday, Mike Kaye of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Gerry hasn't played since 2020, after completing four seasons with the Eagles. He signed with the 49ers in March of 2021, but he was released a short time later in July. The 27-year-old will work to take advantage of this new opportunity to get himself back on a game-day roster.
