Armstrong agreed to a two-year, $13 million contract with the Cowboys on Thursday, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Armstrong has spent the first four seasons of his career in Dallas, and he racked up a career-high 37 tackles (23 solo), five sacks, a pass defense, a fumble recovery and a touchdown in 2021 despite missing four games with an ankle injury. He'll attempt to carve out a role as a depth option once again in 2022.
