Red hot in Cincy

Stat: In the past three games, Bengals WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh has 26 catches for 395 yards and three touchdowns. Fantasy spin: It turns out that Peter Warrick's season-ending injury (shin) was the best thing that could have happened to Houshmandzadeh. He is a quality No. 2 or 3 Fantasy WR right now.

Running in the Motor City

Stat: Detroit RB Kevin Jones aims to become the first rookie in NFL history with three consecutive 150-yard rushing games. He has rushed for 352 yards in the last two games and 632 in the last five. Fantasy spin: Jones just might set the record considering he is facing the Vikings in Week 15. He should be active in all leagues for this attractive matchup.

Dual threat

Stat: Philadelphia RB Brian Westbrook has 65 receptions and 625 receiving yards, the most among NFL RBs. Fantasy spin: Westbrook might not get the best rushing totals on a weekly basis but his ability to catch the ball makes him a dangerous weapon and a very solid Fantasy RB.

Quick take: Johnson has rushed for over 100 yards in two consecutive games and now will get the start in Week 15 against Denver.

Top rookie

Stat: Tampa Bay WR Michael Clayton leads NFL rookies with 70 catches, most by a rookie in franchise history. With 988 yards, Clayton needs 12 yards to become the first Bucs rookie with a 1,000-yard season. Fantasy spin: Clayton flew under a lot of Fantasy radars before the season while more heralded rookies grabbed all the attention. However, Clayton has emerged as the best of the bunch this year and is a great start in Week 15 against New Orleans.

Bronco on the run

Stat: Denver RB Reuben Droughns has rushed for at least 100 yards in six of his past eight games and has a rushing TD in three games in a row. Fantasy spin: Droughns (neck) is probable for Week 15 and assuming he can limit his fumbles, will have a big game against the Chiefs.

Making the most of an opportunity

Stat: Kansas City RB Larry Johnson posted the longest run by a Chief in Week 14 (46 yards) since Barry Word during the 1990 season. Fantasy spin: Johnson has rushed for over 100 yards in consecutive games and coach Dick Vermeil rewarded the back by giving him the start in Week 15. Johnson is a great No. 2 or 3 option when he faces the Broncos.

Quick take: Duckett is out for Week 15 with a knee injury.

Bus parked in end zone

Stat: Pittsburgh RB Jerome Bettis has a touchdown in eight of 13 games and is tied for sixth in the NFL with 12 TDs (all rush). Fantasy spin: With Duce Staley (hamstring) again nursing an injury and questionable for Week 15 against the Giants, Bettis is an attractive Fantasy starter this week.

Sixth option is pretty good

Stat: Carolina RB Nick Goings seeks his fifth consecutive 100-yard rushing game. He has rushed for 457 yards in the last four games. Fantasy spin: Goings continues to be a productive option as a Fantasy RB despite the fact that he was the Panthers sixth option to start the season. He will find the running tough at Atlanta in Week 15 but at this point there is no way to reserve him.

Volek to go the rest of the way?

Stat: Tennessee QB Billy Volek has 11 TDs in his past four games played. He has a 40+ yard TD pass in three games in a row. Volek passed for the fifth-most yards in team history last week (426) against Kansas City. Fantasy spin: With the news that Steve McNair (sternum) could be on the shelf for the rest of the season, Volek is worth owning as a reserve option in all leagues.
