Dolphins' Gerrid Doaks: Inks futures deal

Doaks signed a reserve/future contract with the Dolphins on Friday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

Doaks was selected in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Cincinnati. He spent the entire season on the Dolphins' practice squad, aside from a stint on the COVID-19 list. The 23-year-old will hope to carve out a role in the Dolphins' backfield next season.
