Football Team's Troy Apke: Placed on COVID-19 list

Washington placed Apke on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.

Apke has appeared in 13 games this season, but he's yet to handle a single defensive snap. Field Yates of ESPN reports that only one of the 31 players placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday was an unvaccinated high-risk close contact (Giants safety Xavier McKinney) meaning Apke tested positive for the virus.
