Hakeem Butler: Sent packing

Butler was waived by the Bengals on Friday, per the team's official site.

Butler will be in search of a new team after moving on from what may have been a depth or practice-squad role. He has not yet recorded a catch in the NFL, though he won the Offensive Player of the Year award in the UFL this spring.
