Jets' Ed Stinson: Signs with Jets

Stinson signed a contract Wednesday with the Jets, Eric Allen of the team's official site reports.

Stinson will provide some necessary insurance with all three of the Jets' starting defensive linemen landing on Wednesday's injury report. The third-year Alabama product is unlikely to see much playing time Sunday against the Browns unless a reserve or two goes down as well.
