Josh Babicz: Signs with Panthers' practice squad

Babicz was added to Carolina's practice squad Wednesday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Babicz failed to make the Panthers' 53-man roster after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent from North Dakota State. Given Carolina's lack of established talent at tight end, it's possible Babicz could make an impact for the team down the line.
